Oxford City Constituency Meeting and Public Talk

Hear from Professor Sarah Pendlebury, Professor of Medicine and Old Age Neurosciences. Come and find out about the different causes of dementia, the symptoms and how the diagnosis is made. Hear about the current treatments and the findings from recent trials.

Learn about the condition “delirium”, which is the medical term for the new or worsened confusion of rapid onset. This is very common in older people in hospital and may also occur in the community particularly if someone becomes unwell for example with an infection.
