Understanding dementia for informal carers – Thame

Three older people talking outside

Do you want to have a better understanding of dementia? Then come along to our education session for informal carers. It’s a two-hour, in-person session where you get to meet our team and ask the questions you want to know.

The session will cover three main topics:

  • What is dementia?
  • Understanding dementia – exploring topics in our ‘Understanding dementia’ booklet
  • Services, support, and benefits.

There will be a separate space, with activities, for people living with dementia.

You must register to attend these sessions. To do so, please email education@dementiaoxfordshire.org.uk

We try to cover as much of the county as possible by offering these sessions in a different location each time. However, if you’re struggling to make it, please consider our online education session, which we run every three months.
