Leanne recently joined the team in May 2024 having previously worked in the NHS as a Children’s Nurse and in particular working with children in the community with complex health needs. As a naturally caring, compassionate and warm individual with a passion for wanting to help and support others, I am so pleased that I have an opportunity to help make a difference in my local community. Having my own experience with a family member living with Alzheimer’s I know only too well how important it is to receive information in a timely manner to help with planning and decision-making and how difficult it can be to navigate through the difficulties the condition may present, the different options and information available. I believe in providing a person-centred approach to supporting those with Dementia and their loved ones, therefore helping to empower them to live as full and independent lives as possible.I look forward to becoming established in my area of Wallingford, Goring and Woodcote as a Dementia Adviser.
