Young Onset Dementia Adviser (YODA)

Emily joined the young onset dementia team in May 2024. She previously worked for six years supporting people in a specialist dementia care home, going on to become an Activities Co-0rdinator, delivering a wide range of activities for people of all abilities. She holds a TQUK Level 3 in Advanced Dementia.
Emily’s role within the young onset team is to provide information, guidance, signposting and emotional support for people with young onset dementia and their families. Part of Emily’s role is to facilitate groups, courses and information days for people newly diagnosed or living with young onset dementia.
