Our Carers’ Workshop takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and is a wonderful opportunity for carers to learn more about dementia, connect with others in a similar situation, maintain their wellbeing and navigate the journey of caring for someone with dementia, in a safe and warm environment.
Each month we’ll tackle a different theme, where we welcome guest speakers to come talk to us about a wide range of issues and opportunities. This month, we welcome Chantelle Merritt from Bridge House in Abingdon, who is a trainer in dementia care. She will be sharing her passion for supporting people to live well, her belief in the importance of life history information, and lots of advice about how to engage and interact positively,
Joining is completely free and everyone is welcome!
The Ampleforth Pub is located close to Oxford Bus routes and has plenty of parking.
