On 24th March, the BBC are launching a new season called Dementia and Memories: Starting the Conversation.
Three progamme ‘collections’ will be available on iPlayer, featuring programmes from the 60s, 70s and 80s, including such landmark moments as the moon landings and Abba’s Eurovision win! There is also a pop-up livestream channel, called Memories, on iPlayer. The programmes are all designed to spark conversations with anyone living with dementia, whose long term memory may be functioning better than their short term recall.
