The October Club offers day care for people living with dementia in safe and comfortable environment. Clients will be cared for with understanding and dignity, whilst brief respite and support is given to carers and relatives.
The Club has a range of activities, including card and board games, bingo, musical activities, indoor bowls and skittles, art and craft, quizzes and outings to places of interest and entertainment. A hot and nourishing meal is provided at lunchtime and beverages are available at any time.
The charge to attend the October Club is £25.00 per day, all inclusive. If you live within the catchments area of Wantage and Grove, then transport to and from the October Club can be arranged through the October Club with the Oxfordshire County Council. Charges for transport will be separate and invoiced directly from Oxfordshire County Council, or if preferred, you may use your own means of transport with no extra cost.
The Club currently opens on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9am and 3pm.
