If you are over state pension age and have been having difficulties or needing help with personal care for over 6 months, then you might be eligible for Attendance Allowance.
Attendance Allowance is a financial support scheme set up by the UK Government to support those who have been facing challenges with day-to-day personal care tasks.
If you are eligible, you could either receive £61.85 or £92.40 a week to help with personal support. How much you receive depends on the level of care that you need – for example, whether you struggle with day-to-day personal care tasks during only the day or night, or throughout both.
