Access to support over Christmas

Dementia Oxfordshire Support Line

The run up to Christmas can be a stressful time for everyone, so we’re keeping our Support Line open until 5pm on Christmas Eve. If you have any questions about supporting someone living with dementia, you can call us on 01865 410210 and chat to one of our expert Dementia Advisers.

The Support Line will then be closed from 5pm on 24th December 2024 until 9am on 2nd January 2025.

For alternative support during this time, you can call the Dementia UK helpline to speak to an Admiral Nurse on 0800 888 6678. The Dementia UK support line is available weekdays 9am to 9pm and weekends 9am to 5pm, including bank holidays (except 25th December).

In an out-of-hours emergency, you can call the Oxfordshire Adult Social and Health Care duty team on 0800 833 408.
