Faringdon Day Centre for seniors combines a welcoming atmosphere with opportunities to join in various activities, or just to relax and feel ‘at home’. The programme includes word games, singing, gentle seated exercises, reminiscing sessions, quizzes and talks. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served on arrival and home-cooked two-course lunches at midday.
The Faringdon Day Centre runs every Monday and Thursday from 9:15am – 2:15pm and costs £15 for attendance and lunch.
The centre can provide transport if the person lives in Faringdon. Vale Community Impact in Wantage may be able to assist those living outside Faringdon with transport.
