Event Series Event Series: Ampleforth Carers Workshop

Ampleforth Carers Workshop – Oxford University research talk

Our Carers’ Workshop takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and is a wonderful opportunity for carers to learn more about dementia, connect with others in a similar situation, maintain their well-being and navigate the journey of caring for someone with dementia, in a safe and warm environment.

Each month we’ll tackle a different difficult theme, where we welcome guest speakers to come talk to us about a wide range of issues and opportunities.
For this session, we’ll be joined by Thomas Littlejohns, a senior epidemiologist (someone who researches the patterns and causes of disease and injury) at the University of Oxford. He specialises in dementia research and wants to engage with you to make sure his research is relevant to your experiences.

Joining is completely free and everyone is welcome! 😊

The Ampleforth Pub is located close to Oxford Bus routes and has plenty of parking.
