Our Carers’ Workshop takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and is a wonderful opportunity for carers to learn more about dementia, connect with others in a similar situation, maintain their well-being and navigate the journey of caring for someone with dementia, in a safe and warm environment.
Each month we’ll tackle a different difficult theme, where we welcome guest speakers to come talk to us about a wide range of issues and opportunities.
This month, we’ll be joined by Sophie Burton from Community Dental Services. Sophie is the Oral Health Improvement Manager for Oxfordshire, so she’s going to talk to us about dealing with dental visits, diet, and how to best support someone living with dementia to take care of their oral health.
Joining is completely free and everyone is welcome! 😊
