Our Carers’ Workshop takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and is a wonderful opportunity for carers to learn more about dementia, connect with others in a similar situation, maintain their well-being and navigate the journey of caring for someone with dementia, in a safe and warm environment.
Each month we’ll tackle a different difficult theme, where we welcome guest speakers to come talk to us about a wide range of issues and opportunities.
This month, we’ll be joined by Sophie Burton from the Community Dental Services (CDS). She’ll be giving advice on:
- Basics around brushing, diet, and dentist
- Supporting people living with dementia
- Dental visits
- How to best support others with their oral care
Joining is completely free and everyone is welcome!
The Ampleforth Pub is located close to Oxford Bus routes and has plenty of parking.
