The Light Cinema in Banbury will be holding a dementia-friendly screening of the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz!
Local Advisers Sarah-Jane Edmunds and Sophie Took will be present with you to revisit the wonderful technicolour Land of Oz.
The dementia-friendly screenings have no adverts or trailers and the lighting remains slightly raised throughout the film. Although these screenings are particularly designed for people living with dementia, they are open to the general public too.
Refreshments are served before the film to give audience members a chance to socialise and familiarise themselves with the venue, and guests are welcome to move around as needed.
For full details, please visit The Light Banbury’s dementia-friendly screenings page.
If you’re interested, please let us know so we can meet you to say hello!
