With many years’ experience in marketing, Amanda joins Dementia Oxfordshire as Marketing Officer to help highlight the information and support available to people living with dementia and their carers.
“Having looked after family members with dementia, I know how isolating it can be. Making sure everyone knows about the high-quality help that’s available from Dementia Oxfordshire is essential. The service can help individuals and their carers in so many ways and can make a real difference to their quality of life.”
Amanda has previously worked for a local education charity and also ran the TeaBooks project – providing book groups for older people in Oxfordshire – for nine years.
