Amber previously worked in a private care home for 13 years, where she gained substantial experience and knowledge around dementia. Since having her beautiful daughter at the end of last year, Amber has now returned to the workplace in a new role.
Amber has recently obtained a level 5 assistant practitioner foundation degree in 2020, from Buckinghamshire New University. She has also successfully completed a two year Gold Standards Framework (GSF) training course in London by Professor Keri Thomas OBE. GSF is the UK’s leading training provider for generalist frontline staff in caring for people in their final years. For over twenty years, GSF has helped teams in all settings provide more proactive, better supportive care and enable people to live well during their latter stages in life.
