Rose is a Dementia Adviser, a role she has done since 2012 (apart from two years living in London). She previously worked in the NHS and for Abingdon Citizens Advice Bureau.
Rose has completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Person-Centred Dementia Studies in July 2022 with the University of Worcester. She has been committed to person-centred care for people living with dementia since she was introduced to the work of Tom Kitwood.
“I was grateful for the opportunity to study with the University of Worcester and to learn from research, expert practice and people living with dementia and those supporting them. My aim is to provide timely, clear, person-centred information and advice so that people affected by dementia are aware of their rights and the support available to enable them to live, contribute and participate as they wish at home and in our communities.”
